In cooperation with the expert and collector of Bohemian photography Pavel Scheufler and the Consulate General
of the Czech Republic in Dresden, the Stadtgeschichtliche Museum Leipzig shows a previously little-noticed part of
European history of photography. The exhibition presents important stages of the development of Bohemian and Saxon photography focusing on three Bohemian photographers and their photographic journeys: The outstanding landscape photographer František Fridrich (1829–1892), the pioneer of photo reportage Rudolf Bruner-Dvořák (1864–1921) and the trendsetting producer and publisher of coloured stereo photographs František Krátký (1851–1924).
